Early LEAPS.TV programs had no advisors and relied entirely on the judgment, experience and wisdom of the guest and often the moderator. Since we have begun using independent advisors who represent our audience program ratings have gone up. The direct opinion of advisors, shared prior to program taping or in rehearsals before live programs debut, has also been cited by guests and moderators as one of the benefits of appearing on a LEAPS.TV program: candid advice from audience members that they would have had access to no other way. This page exists to provide answers to some of the most frequently asked questions from our program advisors.
How does someone get to be a Series Advisor?
Usually a person will be a Program Advisor first and will receive recognition from guests, moderators and/or staff but in some cases an advisors credentials are sufficiently strong that their first engagement as an advisor is as a Series Advisor.
