ROLE
PAID
DESCRIPTION
GUEST
NO
The LEAPS.TV Guest is the building block person from whom all LEAPS.TV Broadcast programs are built. It is an uncompensated position but arguably the most important position within the LEAPS.TV universe. Why would anyone want to be a LEAPS.TV guest? There are probably as many reasons as there are quests. Some are subject matter experts who would like to share their knowledge, often appearing in a LEAPS.TV program in lieu of an appearance at a conference or in addition to it. Some guests are visionaries and thinkers who use LEAPS.TV to reach a broader, or more specific, audience with their message. Still other guests are making an appearance to satisfy a requirement that all Pay-Per-View Content Providers first appear as a guest. This is a mandatory test drive prior to entering into a longer term relationship with LEAPS.TV. Whatever the reason, guests provide the critical knowledge that flows through the LEAPS.TV conduit out to our thousands of viewers and rightly deserve the respect and appreciation of all of their law enforcement and public safety peers for their unselfish contributions.

For more information on being a guest on LEAPS.TV you may also consult the Guest Info Page, the Guest Info Sheet, or Guest Frequently Asked Questions Page. If you have an idea for a program or would like to be a guest on a program already being planned submit the Work With LEAPS.TV Inquiry Form.
MODERATOR
NO
Just like conventional television programs LEAPS.TV programs are presented in a variety of formats and many of the formats require moderators. A moderator is not a subject matter expert, per se, but, rather a person with an interest in a particular topic area who can represent the audience in the program and ask questions and engage the guest or guests in a discussion on the topic. This is often a better, more lively and more interesting format than a single person presenting information on a specific topic for half an hour or an hour. You may have noted that moderators are sometimes the Director or Producer of a program. While the moderator role itself is not compensated moderators often take a Director or Producer role in the program for greater control of content and/or compensation reasons.

For more information on being a moderator on LEAPS.TV you may also consult the Moderator Info Page, the Moderator Info Sheet, or Moderator Frequently Asked Questions Page. If you have an idea for a program or would like to be a moderator on a program already being planned submit the Work With LEAPS.TV Inquiry Form.
ADVISOR
NO
LEAPS.TV advisors work behind the scenes to assure that the LEAPS.TV programs on which they advise provide the richest and most comprehensible learning experience for the audience. Contrary to popular belief a LEAPS.TV advisor is not some ultra-expert who provides guidance on program content. Rather, advisors are individuals who represent the audience and assure that the information presented is pertinent to law enforcement and public safety viewers and is presented in a manner that is clear and can be acted upon. LEAPS.TV began using advisors after our first year of operation and we have recognized a marked improvement in already very good program reviews. There are two types of advisors, Program Advisors and Series Advisors and the titles are self-explanatory. The advisor role is uncompensated and allows our advisors to be completely independent and un-biased. Some additional benefits are listed on the Advisor Info Page.

For more information on being an advisor to LEAPS.TV you may also consult the Advisor Info Page, the Advisor Info Sheet, or Advisor Frequently Asked Questions Page. If you have an idea for a program or would like to be an advisor on a program already being planned submit the Work With LEAPS.TV Inquiry Form.
